My work is associated with BIG::Immerse. My research themes and interests include ai & games.
My research lies at the intersection of digital ethics, artificial intelligence, and games. These interests stem from my interdisciplinary background in philosophy and computer science. In my PhD I am investigating the ethics of artificial intelligence in games, with a particular focus on the moral uncertainties surrounding the use of Large Language Models for powering non-player characters. In prior work and theses, I have explored a range of topics, including the ethics of reward systems in games, explainability in automated moderation systems, and the links between the development of technology and colonialism.
