Introduction

Ellen Weir is an EPSRC-funded PhD candidate in ‘Digital Health and Care’, under the advisory of Professor Anne Roudaut and Professor Ute Leonards; and is also a member of the Bristol Interaction Group. Her PhD project brings together Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) with Soft Robotics, aiming to investigate how soft robots may foster the beneficial outcomes observed within non-talking therapeutic interventions. Ellen also has an academic background in Population Health and Medical Sciences, with a focus on service care provision for those with common mental health conditions.
