Research Associate In Ultrasound Guided 3D Bioprinting"

Introduction

Ejay is a Research Associate working on a Project themed around designing an Ultrasound guided technique for 3D bio printing-alongside Prof. Mike Fraser and Dr.Jenna Shapiro. Before moving to Bristol University, Ejay worked as a Senior Scientist in the field of Process Analytics at the Centre For Process Innovation (CPI) where the highlight of his time there were his contributions to the setup of a lab geared towards food and pharmaceutical drug formulation monitoring, in addition to introducing the concept of Acoustic Emissions for formulation process monitoring. Prior to this, he worked as a Technical Lead for a start up called Speir Hunter Ltd, where he helped develop what’s now regarded as the UK’s first non-contact magnetometry based pipeline inspection scanner for the oil and gas industry. Some of his research interests include; Healthcare Technologies/Human Health Monitoring, Measurement & Control, Space & Aviation Studies, Reliability Centred Maintenance, military & defence systems.
