Kath Jones

Introduction

Kath Jones is an EPSRC-funded PhD Researcher in HCI, starting in September 2020 and is a member of Bristol Interaction Group. Her PhD studies how technologies support joint engagement for children who are blind or visually impaired and their sighted partners. Kath’s research interests lie in accessibility and the inclusivity of technologies. Kath has an academic background in Psychology, Teaching, and Social work. She has completed a BSc in Psychology at the University of South Wales, a PGCE in Cardiff University, a DIPSW in Bristol University, a CELTA in City of Bristol College, and an MSc in Psychological Research Methods at the University of Exeter. Outside of the PhD Kath has many interests including, but not limited to, reading, films, computer games, board games, knitting, crochet, crafts, the outdoors and nature.
